Yoga Styles

Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga

Hatha-Vinyasa is a yoga style that combines elements of Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga, offering a balanced practice that integrates strength, flexibility, and mindfulness.

  • Hatha Yoga is a more traditional, slower-paced practice that focuses on holding postures (asanas) for longer periods, emphasizing proper alignment and breath control. It is great for building strength, flexibility, and mental focus.

  • Vinyasa Yoga, on the other hand, is a dynamic and flowing style where movements are synchronized with the breath. It creates a smooth transition between poses, often leading to a more intense and physically engaging practice.

A Hatha-Vinyasa class typically starts with gentle warm-ups, followed by sequences that blend static postures (Hatha) with fluid transitions (Vinyasa). The practice often ends with relaxation or meditation. It is suitable for practitioners of all levels, offering a mix of grounding and energizing elements.

Warrior Yoga

A highly dynamic style of yoga. The initial benefits are primarily focused on core toning and body sculpting. The most commonly practiced poses are aimed at strengthening muscles. This is an endurance-based yoga, which involves a lot of sweating and calorie burning, helping you tone up. With regular practice, it offers additional benefits like increased flexibility and improved balance.

Yin Yoga

Restorative postures that rejuvenate and refresh both body and mind. The practice is completed with breathing or relaxation exercises leading to full relaxation of the muscles, skin, organs, and nervous system. It helps increase physical and mental flexibility, inviting you to slow down, breathe deeply, and find subtle joy. The use of props is encouraged.
